Oscar season and Valentine’s Day got off to a romantic and spectacular start on Tuesday, February 8th at the Third Annual Valentine Romance ‘Sneak Peek’ Oscar Suite, a hit the very moment it opened at Hollywood’s famed La Boheme Restaurant in West Hollywood. The sensational invitation-only event was produced by the oh-so-fab Doris Bergman and Kathy Duliakas, and indulged over 100 of Hollywood’s finest with the restaurant’s 5-star gourmet cuisine created by Executive Chef,Christine Banta .
Along with the delicious food, served on the open-air patio, guests were treated to an incredible assortment of star-quality skin care, glamorous hair accessories, couture fashion for both him and her, head-turning jewelry, the latest in footwear, divine sweets, fabulous scents, exotic spirits, romantic getaways, the luggage to carry them there in style, and much, much more.

Celebrating 13 Years Today!
This message was sent out to us consultants from Curt, the President of Gold Canyon Candles.
Celebrating 13 Years Today!
If you can imagine that 13 years ago today was my first day at Gold Canyon full time! Karen and I had been working in our kitchen for the previous two years trying to create the perfect candle and together we made the leap of faith to go for it full time. We had a brand new baby and a two-year-old and no income when I quit my job as a CPA. We don't know what we were thinking …new baby and no income …other than we knew we had a product that was better than anything else out there in the marketplace
Well, 13 years later we continue to have The World's Finest products, but more importantly we also have The World's Finest Demonstrators. You are amazing-we couldn't do it without each of you! In the words of our Co-Founder and my wonderful wife… thank you, thank you, thank you!

Time for Spring Changes!
Spring is about simple and that’s the décor path to take for this season. Simple touches throughout the home, through fragrance, flowers and other décor can last all season long.
Bringing in small touches that represent each holiday can make your home a fun and inviting place. Try these “spruce up for spring” tips to make your home feel like spring even in colder weather.
1. Out with the old and in with the new! New doesn’t have to mean brand new. Remove your heavy throws, rugs and pillows and bring out the thinner fabrics from last spring. Remove a few throw pillows; it will make your space feel more open and airy with less laying around.
2. Do some rearranging. Again, this tip involves using what you have, but in new ways. Move a chair or end table to a new spot in the room or remove it altogether to make more room in your home. It feels good to purge and make space again, making room for items you do want to add to your spring décor.
3. With your home or room now a clean slate, start thinking about the accessory items to switch out in favor of spring accents. Think floral, greenery and wicker instead of heavy leather.
4. When the spring holidays roll around, don’t forget to add those special touches you have that represent Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter and Mother’s Day.
